In May of
2016, my optometrist, after a number of years of watching, said that the nevus
on my right retina had begun to change. Even
with the odds of one out of six million his concern was that it might be developing
melanoma. Following a second opinion I
went to a retina specialist who confirmed the fear. With the diagnoses I was sent to the Hamilton
Eye Institute in Memphis for treatment. Throughout
the time I posted a blog sharing my thoughts, focusing on my Christian faith
and the strength it provided. See... Nevus In My Eye
The year
following my ocular melanoma my PSA began to bounce like a yo-yo: first up, then down. The concern was that it never went down as
much as up and always up farther than before.
For this reason in February 2018 I endured a prostate biopsy. Unfortunately it yielded unfavorable results. So, I
find myself preparing again to post a blog. See... My PSA Has Gone Awry
